Pulaski K-8 School Conversion

Conversion of an existing K-5 school into a new K-8 school. Includes a 41,570 square-foot addition with 19 new classrooms, a new gym and new administrative offices. 12,775 square feet of renovations repurposed the former gymnasium into CTAE classrooms, refreshed the media center and clinic, and new site improvements, including a parking lot and a 120,000 square-foot playfield.

Senior Vice President, Preconstruction

Amar joined in 2011, bringing nearly two decades of experience. As senior vice president of preconstruction, he directs and supervises all activities related to preconstruction, including conceptual estimates, bid estimates and deliverables, focusing on high-rise and low-rise multifamily and hospitality projects. Amar has managed more than $1 billion of multifamily housing projects.

Casey Thompson

Vice President, Controller

As Vice President, Controller for Balfour Beatty’s operations, Casey is responsible for the accounting and budgetary oversight of the construction business for the Carolinas and Georgia. Casey has been a valued member of our team since 2014. A Georgia native, Casey holds a Bachelor of Arts in finance from the University of West Georgia.

Chris Diaz

Vice President, Safety Health and Environmental

In his role, Chris Diaz has overseen safety for many projects in theming, medical, residential, commercial, corrections, hospitality, education, heavy industrial, fuel distribution and co-generation power plants. He is a member of the Common Ground Alliance and leading an industry-wide safety orientation and certificate program.

In his role as vice president of operations, George provides executive leadership support to our project teams in Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC while leading our multifamily and military housing market sectors. A proven leader with more than 21 years of experience with Balfour Beatty, George is known for his ability to drive operational excellence and consistently deliver on our promises for repeat clients. He takes great pride in mentoring and developing the next generation of builders.

Michael Delashmit

As project executive, Michael plays an instrumental role in supporting Balfour Beatty’s commercial operations in Georgia. Michael’s expertise as a builder was formed from a diverse background having delivered projects across an array of market sectors including hospitality, high-rise residential, office, mixed-use, and adaptive re-use. Some of his most notable projects include the award-winning 14^th + Spring Office Tower, Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Midtown, Nine15 Midtown Apartments, and Thompson Savannah Hotel. A dedicated leader, Michael is unwavering in his commitment to delivering success for his clients.

Mike Macon

Roger Watson

Roger joined Balfour Beatty in 2014, bringing more than two decades of experience to the team. Now as vice president of business development for the Georgia operations, he provides trust and credibility in understanding owners’ challenges as well as those of the AEC community. Roger’s expertise spans the private market sector and he holds a B.S. in construction management from Georgia Southern University.

Scott Skidelsky

President, Southeast

As president of the company's Southeast operations, Scott Skidelsky is responsible for executive oversight, project acquisition, and business growth within Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.

Scott Skidelsky has spent more than two decades in the construction industry in a wide variety of leadership positions, serving clients across the United States throughout his career.

Well known for his unique ability to connect with and inspire teammates from all facets of the business, Scott is a Building Design + Construction “Forty Under 40” alumni and was named “Man of the Year” among the Forty Under 40 winners by the Orlando Business Journal in 2007.

Prior to his career in construction, Scott served in the United States Navy as an Officer in Charge of Construction and as a Contracting Officer. Scott also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering from the University of Illinois.

A loving husband and father, Scott celebrates three decades of marriage with his high school sweetheart and is a proud parent of two aspiring young professionals.

Tequesta DeSouza is an accomplished Vice President of Human Resources for the Southeast, renowned for her expertise in talent management, employee relations, change management, and coaching. As a trusted advisor and business partner, she collaborates with operations to develop strategies aimed at building exceptional teams and fostering a best-place-to-work culture. She is also the founder of Future Unleashed, LLC, a company dedicated to empowering young adults for successful careers. Recognized as a Power Leader in Human Resources by the South Florida Business Journal in 2016, Tequesta is esteemed for her professionalism and leadership. A member of the Society for Human Resource Management and a former president of the Human Resources Association of Broward County, she holds a Master’s in Human Resources from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University, along with prestigious HR certifications.
