Saving lives, one alarm at a time
Construction Manager Jason Sikora recently sat down with Construction Dive to share how our Infrastructure teams in the Southeast keep jobsites safe using Caterpillar's Cat Detect system. The system uses intelligent cameras to track people who go near heavy machinery, sounding an alarm when a person gets too close.
Amid busy jobsites where equipment operators have numerous factors to keep track of, these alarms help keep our teammates and the traveling public safe.
