Del Sol High School athletic director Chris Holdsworth points out construction on the outskirts of the new stadium on campus in Oxnard during a tour of the site on Friday, May 1, 2026. The project was paid for by Measure E, a $285 million bond measure, in November 2024.

"We are working closely with district and school leadership to accelerate safe access to the athletic facilities and are encouraged by the progress being made to bring these fields to life as early as possible," Balfour Beatty Operations Director in California Dennis Kuykendall said of construction on athletic facilities at Del Sol High.

Building M, like Building U, will be essential to powering and running the surrounding fields within the Del Sol High athletic campus. The building is flanked by baseball and softball fields for varsity and JV on all four sides.

Building U will house locker rooms and key water and power infrastructure for the Del Sol High School stadium, making it a key priority in opening the stadium to use, according to Del Sol athletic director Chris Holdsworth during a tour of the site on Friday, May 1, 2026.
