Rodney joined Centex in April 2002 as Senior Vice President and CLO for the DFW Division. His responsibilities for the DFW Division include all legal and risk management. He has over 21 years experience in construction, first as a welder’s helper and pipe fitter in the field and then as a project engineer. Rodney graduated in 1988 from Texas A&M University earning a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. After five years of building design-build power plants in California and Alabama, he went to law school Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. After law school, Rodney practiced law at Bradley Arrant Rose & White in Birmingham in the Construction and Procurement Law group litigating contract disputes on behalf of large general contractors, including Centex. He became an equity partner at Bradley Arrant in 2001.
