Jim has proven construction management experience with over 30 years in the industry, the last nine of which have been with Balfour Beatty. Jim previously played a critical role in the Corrections market providing leadership in operations, as well as, maintaining strong relationships with key clients. He continues overseeing the Peabody Hotel Project as Project Executive, under the Hospitality Business Unit, led by Sean DeMartino. Jim started with Balfour Beatty on the East Mesa Detention Facility in San Diego in June, 1998. He was promoted to General Superintendent, then Operations Director followed by the current position. Jim earned his B.S. in Construction Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois-Urbana and is a Registered Professional Engineer/Certified General Contractor in Florida.
