    Balfour Beatty Promotes Steve Dillon to Vice President of Business Development in North Texas

    DALLAS – Balfour Beatty has promoted Steve Dillon to vice president of business development for its buildings operations in North Texas. In his new role, Dillon oversees client relations and business development for large commercial, education and interiors clients across the region.
    With 21 years of industry experience, Dillon serves as a trusted advisor for clients who need support, advice and direction regarding their business objectives. Having previously served as an operations director for Balfour Beatty in North Texas, he remains closely connected to the company’s operations teams in the field.
    Over the course of his career with Balfour Beatty, Dillon has helped deliver some of the company’s most notable Texas projects, including the new 2.8-million-square-foot Parkland Memorial Hospital, Texas Health Resources Harris Heart Center, the One Bethany Class-A office building, Forest Park Medical Center Fort Worth, University of Texas Southwestern Ambulatory Surgery Center, among others. Dillon is also a subject matter expert on the emerging Class-A tilt wall office product trend occurring across North Texas, including specific experience on projects for Transwestern, Billingsley and Kaizen. 
    Active within the industry, Dillon currently serves on the board of directors for The Real Estate Council (TREC) and participated in the inaugural TREC Executive Leadership Council in 2017. He  is an active member of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), and a longtime supporter of the March of Dimes and Texas Health Resources Foundation for which he serves as its charity golf tournament’s spokesperson. Dillon earned a degree in construction engineering technology with a minor in industrial management and engineering from Montana State University.
