Balfour Beatty Construction Honored as Contractor of the Year by the American Institute of Architects Dallas
April 20, 2015
DALLAS – The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Dallas recently honored Balfour Beatty Construction with its
Contractor of the Year
award at the CELEBRATE ARCHITECTURE 2015 event at Klyde Warren Park. Benefiting the Dallas Center for Architecture (DCFA) Foundation, the AIA Dallas CELEBRATE ARCHITECTURE event recognizes Community Honor Award Recipients as the city’s champions of architecture.
“Celebrate Architecture is about honoring companies and individuals for what they bring to the city, contributing to Dallas’ beauty and quality of life,” said Eden Vaughn, AIA Dallas. “Balfour Beatty was named as AIA Dallas Contractor of the Year for many reasons, including their reputation for producing quality projects and developing excellent working relationships with both architects and communities across the Dallas/Fort Worth area.”
Each spring, AIA Dallas commends those companies and people whose works and efforts make the community a better place. CELEBRATE ARCHITECTURE is AIA Dallas’opportunity to honor local members of the profession for their distinguished achievements on the national, state, and local level.
“Our team is honored to be named AIA Dallas Contractor of the Year,” said Eric Krueger, senior vice president of business acquisition for Balfour Beatty Construction. “We have worked really hard to be a valuable business partner to the architectural community earlier in the planning and design process. This effort has delivered value to our shared clients in the form of more innovative, sustainable, cost-effective, and beautifully designed and constructed buildings.”
