Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs (CCIP)
Seeking to benefit our clients through more economical and efficient methods of managing overall construction risks, Balfour Beatty Construction has developed risk management and financial tools that enhance project performance and ultimately lower the project cost.
Our approach to Wrap Up programs differs from many other large contractors that seek to enroll virtually all projects into a “rolling” Wrap Up. These rolling programs are generally renewable programs written for a specified coverage period, meaning the pricing and terms could be modified at some point in time. Our approach is much more selective and focuses on those projects where the Wrap Up provides obvious benefits to the Owner.
Our CCIP administration is performed by a dedicated in-house team and is managed via a proprietary Balfour Beatty Construction software application. Our CCIP offers our clients and subcontractors the following benefits:
