Building Information Modeling (BIM)

At Balfour Beatty Construction, we use Building Information Modeling (BIM) to enhance communication and collaboration with our partners and clients, improving the design and construction processes of our projects. Our Technology & Process Development group is proficient in using Autodesk’s suite of BIM software, including Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, QTO, and Design Review.

BIM has been embedded into our core management processes, improving the capabilities of our people to design, plan and manage projects. Using this integrated approach toward building construction, we employ BIM processes on all new projects to strengthen communication and team transparency.

We dedicate an on-site BIM Integrator to every project, allowing them to understand the details and dynamics of that specific project. In addition, each of our divisions maintains a group of BIM experts who function as a core resource for each project and the entire company.
