Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and NGA Campus East receive five WBC Craftsmanship Awards

Two Balfour Beatty projects received Washington Building Congress (WBC) Craftsmanship awards, one for Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and four for NGA Campus East.
Walter Reed National Military Medical Center received one award in the plumbing category with work performed by Southland Industries.
NGA Campus East received four awards in the following categories:
• architectural millwork on the auditorium performed by ISEC, Inc.
• elevators performed by ThyssenKrupp.
• thermal and moisture protection performed by Prospect Waterproofing Co.
• landscaping performed by KT Enterprises.
WBC Craftsmanship awards recognize the skill and achievement of the individual craftsmen who deserve recognition for their exceptional workmanship.

The Craftsmanship Awards banquet will take place on Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C., where awards will be officially presented to craftsmen. Congratulations to the project teams and our craftsmen for these five awards!
