Balfour Beatty Construction sponsors 2011 Ecobuild conference and BIMStorm

December 05, 2011

Balfour Beatty Construction is once again taking a leadership role in developing technological solutions. We’re sponsoring and actively participating in the 2011 Ecobuild America conference and BIMStorm.

BIMStorm is part of Ecobuild, which kicks off December 5 in Washington, D.C. The conference and exhibition is designed to help architecture, engineering, and construction professionals design and construct a better built environment. The conference focuses on several specialized areas, including building information modeling (BIM), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), green building, high-performance building, sustainability, energy efficiency, smart buildings, and security.

Balfour Beatty Construction will have an exhibit booth open all day on December 7 and 8 with a BIM immersive simulator, smartbox (detailing advanced approach to digital information exchange), as well as various presentations and slideshows demonstrating our BIM capabilities and products.

Balfour Beatty Construction BIMStorm presenters at this year’s Ecobuild conference include Jason Reece (technology and process development senior manager), Jesse Whalen (assistant process manager), and Kurt Maldovan (assistant project manager), among others.

This is the third year that Balfour Beatty Construction has played a key role in this conference.
