Balfour Beatty Construction Named 2009 Winner Of Greater Dallas Business Ethics Award
On May 13, Balfour Beatty Construction was honored to be named a 2009 winner of the Greater Dallas Business Ethics Award. Balfour Beatty was one of two winners selected from among 24 nominated companies and nine finalists. The winners will go on to be considered for the American Business Ethics Award.
Balfour Beatty Construction won the award in the mid–size company category. Sleep Experts won in the small–size category. There were no large–company submissions this year.
The Society of Financial Service Professionals established the American Business Ethics Award to honor companies that demonstrate a firm commitment to ethical business practices in everyday operations, management philosophies, and responses to crises or challenges. The Greater Dallas Business Ethics Award is sponsored by the Dallas Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.
Entries were evaluated by an independent panel of judges composed of individuals with an expertise in business ethics and were drawn from the business, academic, public service, media, and consulting communities.
