VP, Sustainability and Diversity
Tracy joined the company in 2005, demonstrating her strength and industry expertise in design/build and CM-at-Risk services. She later went on to serve as a Director in the company’s Preconstruction Services Team, and as Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) Director in our Florida Division.
In 2011, Tracy’s long-held passion and leadership in sustainable business resulted in her promotion to serve as the company’s national vice president of Sustainability. In this role, she leads the design and development of programs which support healthy communities and profitable markets initiatives, while reducing the company’s environmental impact. In addition, she works with Sustainability Action Partners in divisions and regions across the U.S. and throughout the global Balfour Beatty network to progress sustainability initiatives.
In 2015, Tracy was asked to also lead the Balfour Beatty Construction Diversity initiative, focused on team and supplier diversity. She helps ensure we establish sustainable relationships and partnerships with small, minority, and women-owned businesses (SMWBE) to help us drive innovation, new ideas and better support of the communities we’re building. Within the last five years, Balfour Beatty Construction has awarded more than $6.1 billion in SMWBE contracts.
Tracy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from Virginia Tech and has been involved with several leadership organizations, including United Way.
