Tom Rowland

VP/General Manager Dallas

Tom Rowland was offered the chance to join a construction crew in 1975 as a field engineer at the US Steel mill in Baytown, following attendance at the University of Houston.  After 11 years in the field, Tom joined Partners Construction and moved inside, running interior jobs in Houston. The next opportunity in his career trajectory came when he accepted the role of owner’s representative on the One Shoreline Plaza project in Corpus Christi, Texas.  In 1996, after competing for bids from subcontractors with a fierce loyalty to Fred Maxwell, Tom joined the company, and became an officer at SpawMaxwell in 2003.  Two years later, Tom agreed to lead the expansion of SpawMaxwell into the Dallas market.

Tom and his wife Dolly have one daughter, and enjoy travel together. Tom took up cycling in 2004 and has ridden in several long-distance road rides, including the popular MS 150 and the Hotter ‘N Hell 100. Tom is a supporter of many causes with service to:
