Mr. Levy, who has 19 years with the company and 28 years in the industry, joined Balfour Beatty Construction in 1993 to assist in the building of the 4000 bed Alberti Prison in Beeville, Texas. He has extensive experience in the competitive sealed proposals and construction manager at-risk delivery methods for K-12, higher education, correctional and commercial facilities. In 2010, Mr. Levy was promoted to Vice President of Operations for the Education Group in the Central Region. He is responsible to the Senior Vice President for management of construction activities and oversees site-based personnel to ensure on-time delivery, safety compliance, quality excellence, as well as the financial success of projects across Texas. Steven’s accolades include being named the Dallas AGC 2001 Superintendent of the Year and the National AGC 2004 Safety Superintendent of the Year and most recently was elected as Vice Chair on the Murphy, Texas Planning and Zoning Commission for the 2012-2013 year. He is also a board member for the Construction Education Foundation since 2010.
Steve earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering from Florida International University in 1984.
