Division President, Washington Division
Steve is responsible for overseeing all public and private projects of the Washington, D.C. division. He joined the company in 1997 as Senior Vice President, was later promoted to Executive Vice President, and is now the Washington, D.C. Division President. With more than 28 years of construction experience, Steve spent 16 years working with Clark Construction Group in Bethesda, Maryl;and, where he developed an extensive background in operations, including the management of lump sum, negotiated projects and design-build projects. He also managed self-performed concrete, foundation retention, and masonry work.
Steve serves on the Washington Building Congress (WBC) Board of Governors, and is Past Chairman of that organization's Craftsmanship Awards. He is also the Building Chairman of the Ronald McDonald House Charities Building Committee and is Co-chair of the Associated Builders and Contractors General Contractors Council. He holds a B.S. in building construction from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where he is also a member of the industry advisory board.
