Ray began his construction career with the company in 1973 as a project engineer. After dedicating 35 years to this organization and working his way up through the ranks he currently serves as Chief Executive Officer in the Florida division. In addition to his role at the division level Ray is a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team. Ray received a degree in building construction from the University of Florida in 1973. Committed to his alma mater he serves on the Board of Directors for the BCN South Florida Gator Alumni Association. He is also an Executive Committee Member with the University of Florida’s M.E. Rinker Sr. Hall, School of Building Construction Advisory Council and was recently inducted into the UF Construction Hall of Fame. Ray is also on the Board of Directors with the Community Foundation; an Executive Committee member of the United Way of Broward County’s Tocqueville Society; a Board member with Broward Alliance and Broward County Workshop; and a member of the CEO Council for Broward Alliance. At an executive level, Ray has participated as a Board member for numerous organizations over the years, including the Miami-Dade County Product Review Board, Miami Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Circle, Florida Gulf Coast University/Lucas Institute for Real Estate Development and Finance, and the South Florida Chapter of Associated General Contractors.
