John joined Balfour Beatty Construction in 2004 as Division Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, responsible for the success of the Southeast Region's financial processes, reporting, and forecasting, as well as the evaluation and management of risk. In 2010, he was named President of Balfour Beatty Construction's operations in the Carolinas. In this role, his focus is to support the business units in consistent sales growth and profitability across the markets of commercial, retail, education, and government sectors. Before joining Balfour Beatty Construction, John worked for J.A. Jones, Inc, where he held the positions of Vice President - Finance & Accounting, Manager of Market and Strategic Development, and Manager of Business Development. Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, John has lived in North Carolina for nearly 20 years. He holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from Indiana University, a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Wake Forest University, and is a licensed CPA.
