John joined Balfour Beatty in 2010 as Senior Vice President and Division Chief Legal Officer for the company's Carolinas and Military Housing divisions. In this role, John oversees litigation, transaction risk mitigation, and compliance for the two divisions. A member of the American Bar Association, John has practiced private law since 1993. With more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry, John is the National Chair of the Legal Committee for the Construction Management Association of America and has been a member of Associated General Contractors since 1994. John graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University and holds a law degree from Southwestern University School of Law.
