Joe joined Balfour Beatty Construction in 2005 as an Assistant Controller, serving the commercial business units in Raleigh, Atlanta, and Charlotte, as well as general accounting needs for the Southeast Region. Joe now leads the finance and accounting function for the Carolinas Division as Vice President of Finance.
He began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen in Atlanta. He then joined a large local accounting firm, where he served the audit and accounting needs of specialty subcontractors and general contractors.
Joe received a B.S. in Accounting from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is actively involved with his church board and the Construction Financial Management Association.
