Eric Stenman is President of Barnhart Balfour Beatty, responsible for providing overall leadership and strategic planning for this full-service general contracting, engineering, and construction management firm based in Southern California.
Over the past decade, he has overseen business operations and contractual risk management for the firm, serving as Vice President and General Counsel prior to being named President in 2007. One of the country's largest educational builders, Barnhart Balfour Beatty has an extensive portfolio of current projects for the U.S. military, healthcare providers, and city and county governments.
A former General and Mechanical Contractor, Eric is active at the national level of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), and is a Trustee for the AGC San Diego chapter's Retirement Trust and Health & Welfare Fund in addition to serving on the Board of Directors. Eric is also a board member of the Lincoln Club of San Diego and the City of San Diego Board of Building Appeals and Advisors. He has been honored by several local publications for his business leadership role.
Eric holds a law degree from California Western School of Law, earned his B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Northridge, and is a licensed contractor in the State of California.
