Vice President, Risk Management
Ed joined the company in 2006 as Vice President of Risk Management. In this role he is responsible for the overall design, management and execution of risk management programs and initiatives. Ed began his career in 1985 with Arthur Andersen & Co., where he was primarily involved with construction industry clients. From there he joined industrial contractor Montague Systems as Chief Financial Officer. In 1996, Ed moved into the risk management arena by joining Willis, where he served in various capacities, including National Subguard Practice Leader, CFO of the National Construction Practice and COO of the Carolinas. Ed further expanded his risk management experience by serving as Vice President of Risk Management for Skanska. Most recently, Ed served as Construction Practice Leader for Wachovia Insurance Services in Atlanta, Georgia. Ed holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of South Carolina and was licensed as a CPA in South Carolina. He has been active as a participant and speaker in numerous industry groups, including CFMA, IRMI and AGC.
