Doug joined the company as Controller in 1998, and has held positions Vice President of Finance, Division Chief Financial Officer, and Senior Vice President / Division Chief Financial Officer. He began his career in public accounting as a Staff Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand, and was the Assistant Controller for Magnolia Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Prior to joining Balfour Beatty Construction, he was Vice President and Controller of C.F. Jordan Construction Company in El Paso, Texas. Doug attended Rice University in Houston, Texas on a football scholarship and graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1986 with a B.B.A. in Accounting. In 1988, he received the CPA designation from the state of Texas and is a past member of the Texas Association of CPA’s and the AICPA.
