An architect by training, Brad Hardin brings a holistic approach to construction services focused on efficiency, innovation, and value. Since arriving at Balfour Beatty in 2009, he has revolutionized our virtual design and construction capabilities. Currently, Brad leads the Southern California BIM department and oversees all modeling products for clients throughout the Southwest Region. Known for his outstanding ability to resolve design conflicts through early BIM collaboration, he routinely helps clients avoid possible change orders and delays in construction before they occur.
A leader in his field, Brad recently presented at the Associated General Contractors of America, the Autodesk University annual conference, and the BuildingSmart Alliance. Additionally, he chairs the national Design Build Institute of America BIM committee and authored
BIM and Construction Management: Proven Tools, Methods, and Workflows, a book that provides practical advice and serves as the first and only building information modeling (BIM) integration guide for the construction industry.
