So Others May Eat (S.O.M.E.) is a private, non-profit organization that helps the poor and homeless in Washington, D.C. Besides providing hot meals twice a day, seven days a week, they provide clothes, health care, affordable housing, job training, addiction treatment and counseling to the poor, the elderly and those with mental illness.
