Employees spent the past month raising money for the Memorial Cancer Institute Image Recovery Center in Pembroke Pines. They sold raffle tickets and candy, and rounded up cash donations as well as items for the raffle. Fantastic gifts were raffled off, including the top prize of a week’s stay in a North Carolina vacation home, won by Elena Ficarra. Over $11,000 was raised for Image Recovery Center, a place of hope and healing where cancer patients receive personalized counseling and services to help them adjust to the physical and emotional changes experienced due to chemotherapy, radiation therapy or surgery. CEO Ray Southern presented a great big check to the foundation at happy hour in Davie on September 18.
