Interview Questions
Starting the Interview Process
Our plan is to ask you a series of job–related questions so we can accurately assess your knowledge, skill, ability, and experience.
Our questions will tell you a lot about our Company and this job. As a result, they will help you to make a choice about Balfour Beatty Construction, just as our assessment will help us to make a choice about you.
Please be concise, but don’t be so concise you fail to communicate relevant job–related knowledge, skill, ability, and experience to us.
There are no “correct answers!” Your answers should provide tangible examples of your job–related knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience. They should not provide a philosophy. Your tangible examples will help to assure "fit."
We believe "good fit" should be our goal and yours.
You will notice us taking notes during the process. This is normal. It is our way of recording important knowledge, skill, ability, and experience examples so we can make an objective assessment of you.
As we ask questions, please feel comfortable in asking us to repeat any question(s). If you want to "pass" on a question until later in the interview … just tell us.
Please try to hold your job–related questions until the end of the interview.
Balfour Beatty Construction is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity in the workplace.
