To better support the needs of our clients in the Tarrant County area, Balfour Beatty opened our Fort Worth location in 2005. We have consistently provided preconstruction and construction management services in Tarrant County for over a decade. Our clients include Gaylord Entertainment, Texas Health Resources, Gateway Church, DFW Airport and John Peter Smith Health at locations across the County. The Fort Worth office houses a comprehensive preconstruction and construction team who are dedicated to these clients.
Until 2009, Fort Worth was one of the few major cities in the United States that did not have a memorial for fallen police and firefighters. Dedicated to contributing to the communities where we live and work, Balfour Beatty recognized that the memorial was a project where our help could make a difference. Our team donated our time to manage the construction of the memorial, and worked closely with our subcontracting partners to reduce the cost of the project by nearly half of the initial budget. In a letter to Balfour Beatty’s project manager for the memorial, City of Fort Worth Mayor Michael Moncrief said, “Today, as we dedicate the new Fort Worth Police & Firefighters Memorial, I would like to personally thank you for the contributions you and Balfour Beatty Construction have made to assure that this dream has become a reality…Without your generous contribution of onsite construction project management we may still be looking for the last few dollars needed to begin the construction.”
